Description

Beautiful vintage pat. 1927 Cambridge Glass "Draped Lady" pink figural flower frog measuring 13" tall. The round base is 5" in diameter and has 12 individual holes for flowers. The inside of the base is embossed "Pat. No 1645577. The compote bowl is 14" in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Cambridge Glass Company was organized in 1901, with Arthur J Bennett as factory manager. In 1927 Mr. Bennett was granted patent number 1,645,577 protecting all the figural images cast as an integral part of the flower holding block.
