    PACKARD 1930 "INDIVIDUAL CUSTOM CARS" BOXED PORTFOLIO VERY RARE
    PACKARD 1930  "Individual Custom Cars" Model 7-45. A very rare and desirable complete boxed custom coachbuilder portfolio. 10.8"x 14.5" (27.4cm x 36.8cm)  Fifteen 10.0"x13.8" heavy and thick color plates of custom coachwork examples with color illustrations of interiors on the reverse side -  LeBaron (6), Brewster (5), Dietrich (2) & Rollston (2). Also the correct "Mechanical Features" part-color brochure, 9.8"x13.3" 8 pages plus covers.
    This is one of the truly special and most sought-after American automotive literature sales pieces of the "Classic Era "  I have been following eBay listings since the 1990s and have never seen this portfolio offered previously.
    The condition of this portfolio is very good to excellent.  The box is totally clean and unmarked, with the edges of the cover in good condition.  A 2-inch section of the cover side edge has broken off but is retained and can be restored to the cover.  The fifteen plates are all clean, with minor age-based discoloration and foxing, and one very small un-printed corner missing on one plate.  No markings of any sort.  Please see my photos.
