Here we have a beautiful vintage (possibly antique) hand made quality solid wood ALPINE IBEX (Mountain Goat, Steinbock, Capricorn) balanced on a rock pinnacle made by Albert Schild of Interlaken, Switzerland. It measures approx. 12-1/2" high x 11-1/2" long (front to rear) x 4" horns wide. It is in excellent maintained (displayed) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted. It is being offered in "as found" condition currently with removable horns [NOTE: original owner did not permanently attach the horns with glue, each horn fits in its own hole. They will be removed to shipped.]The bottom has its original paper sticker which reads, "Albert Schild ~ Interkaken ~ Holzschnitzereien ~ Wood Carvings."
Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa early 1920's.  This item weighs approx. 2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material.  I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
